Not to start off too sentimental or anything (*cue sarcasm*), but I have always been interested in the English language; when I was a kid, I wondered whether it was correct to write ‘Happy Mother’s Day’ or ‘Happy Mothers’ Day’ on my Mother’s Mother’s Day card (my rationale was simply that there are many mothers in the world, and it’s their day, so wouldn’t Mothers’ Day be preferred?). Fortunately, the Internet has cleared this up; both are of course grammatically correct, but it is my understanding that the intention of Mother’s Day is to celebrate your own mother (rather than all mothers).

I just read a CNBC article by Ali Montag, and felt compelled to share it with you. It’s titled, “Jeff Bezos worked at McDonald’s when he was 16 — here’s what he learned.”
It’s Saturday afternoon. When I’ve worked as an employee for companies in the past, the weekends (or days that I had off of work, if employed as a shift worker) were the designated days to relax.
I do not have a dog, but my family included dogs from the time I was a young child until I was in my early-twenties.
It pains me to write this, but after watching many of Cesar Millan’s shows and reading a few of his books, I realize that I did not know how to properly train or communicate with the dogs I loved so much.
Until I am ready to make the commitment to have a dog again, I will continue to watch Cesar Millan’s shows and read his books/blog… in the name of research, of course.
I was inspired to write this blog post after watching Season 1, episode 7 (titled “Philadelphia Freedom”) of Cesar Millan’s Dog Nation because of the Throw Away Dogs Project.
